He walks across the stage barefoot like Kunta Kente!

 My homeboy Samax dropped this a while back, and had people talking. So, I thought I'd talk a little about who he is.


This, is Tag the Barbarian. He's the star of a sword and sorcery novel I'm working on.

Though Tag does not like to fight, he's good at it, so people are always trying to get him to fight. He does enjoy making masks as presents for his friends, as well as for himself. He uses them to hide, and reveal, himself to the world, as well as intimidate enemies in battle. 

Tag was born in a poor Ibo village. From the age of 5, he was raised by a Dragon and a Hebrew prophet. At about 15 he hooked up with the Swordplay Crew: Some say they're a gang, but Tag would say they're adventurers.
